Working just fine. Updated by Software Update pref pane with no problems. Just need to re-run the ALC883 audio patcher afterwards to get sound working again...
10.6.4 (beta build 10F564) is running fine on my 6720s. Only needs the updated Legacy Speedstep kext from the download section
Theres an ongoing development around netkas's fakesmc source. The new features are super-IO chip readings (temp, fan speed, voltages), GPU temp/fan readings for Nvidia cards and GMAx3100, ACPI register readings and CPU temps. The screenshot is from my P5K-VM board using iStat. The kexts are still being actively developed at the moment.

This disc also will allow to install 10.6 in similar laptops (HP6520s, HP550, etc). On the 6720s it will give you almost fully functional Snow Leopard insatllation (some minor problems with native brightness control for some machines). QE/CI, Audio I/O, Sleep, USB, Battery meter, etc... The package includes a guide for 10.6.3
Well, theres no much to add to the title. With this CD you can boot and install a retail Snow Leopard 10.6 disk on your P5K-VM board. Also includes a post-install package with all the drivers you need, and a small guide (read it!). The package should give you full support for the onboard hardware (except for the onboard GMA- you need a supported PCI-e card), but Audio, Ethernet, SATA, ATA, Sleep, etc, should work without problems.
Hello again! After I started posting again in the old XXX Install Disk blog, I felt the content was a bit unrelated, so I decided to start a new blog here.
I will be posting things I find interesting but most of all the ones related with the current hardware I have.
